Half Marathon!!!

Eeeek!!! I've just been given a place in the Great North Run!!! And whilst I am SOOOO excited I am sooooooooooooo nervous!!! Most I have ever run is 5 miles!!!!! I'm going to try and post quite a bit about my training (to keep me doing it! Hehe!!)

    5 miles is great base to start with. I ran a really low amount of Mondays, a average amount (5) on Tues and Thurs and then Saturdays were my long runs. Please join us on the thread labled MFP Runners Club. You will get great advice there and make alot of running buddies! Best of luck!

    i'm hoping to do 'Run to the Beat' in South London, which is also a half marathon in September.
    furthest i've run is 10k so will be thinking of you as i train!
