Strength training?

I've always had a pretty athletic build. Do I still need to add strength training into my workouts to help burn fat? How much and what sorts of things do you guys do? Thanks!

Depends on what you're going for. You probably want tone (most women do) so you should be doing some light weights with 3 or so sets of 15 reps.
To burn the most fat, work either your leg or chest muscles. These are the biggest muscles in your body and will therefore do the most work (use the most energy aka calories).
Startoff by doing some light lunges, dumbbell squats, dumbbell chest press, and dumbbell flys. If you have enough space in your gym, try doing a circuit of these, something like:
Lunges, 15 reps
Dumbbell chest press, 15 reps
Repeat this 3 times with minimal (30-45seconds) break in between each circuit
Dumbbell squats, 15 reps
Dumbbell flys, 15 reps
Repeat this 3 times with minimal (30-45seconds) break in between each circuit
To make it more interesting you could add some arm workout into that too, maybe bicep curls on the first circuit and tricep extensions on the second circuit.0
