Hello. I started this past summer and lost a bit over 40 pounds so far. I'm your age and know that it isn't easy. Feel free to add me if you'd like, but only if you intend to stick with it and be active.

Hi there, welcome to a wonderful site and Happy New Year to you as well..... I'm just about your age ( birthday coming up in a couple of months) and my scale is taking its own sweet time accepting the losses - HOWEVER, my shape has really changed - take those measurements now and keep track - I try to plan some extra calorie burning activities on days that I know I'm going to have some evening food challenges.....MFP has really changed my life and I am so thankful the all the help, support and encouragement I have received here on my journey - best thing that I did for my healthy life changes was join MFP....
