First 5K today

So, I'm running my first 5K today. Super excited! But I live in Kansas and so what decides to start falling at around 6 am....snow. Forcasting 3 to 5 inches in total. Should make for an interesting challege

    good luck to you! i'm "running" one tomorrow and i feel SO unprepared. i did one a month ago and that was a struggle.

    Your first 5K on New Year's ... that's such a great accomplishment! Hope that you have fun & just be careful not to slip in the snow (I'm from MI and we have a lot, too) :smile:
