First 5K today

So, I'm running my first 5K today. Super excited! But I live in Kansas and so what decides to start falling at around 6 am....snow. Forcasting 3 to 5 inches in total. Should make for an interesting challege

Update on the race. I finished in 43:24.9 and 19th out of 29 in my age group. Not bad for my first race!!! Time to get ready for the next one on February 23 that benefits a former classmate of mine that passed away from melanoma last year and whose daughter who is almost 2 has stage 40
