Hey guys,

I have been a yo yo dieter for many years but over recent months have become much more serious about my weight loss. I lost 7lbs from the beginning of November up until Christmas but have gained four of those back due to festive indulgence (ooooppps).
But I'm now back on the ball and looking for serious motivation to reach my target of losing 40lbs by the middle of June when I go on holiday.
I am 5'4 and currently weigh 175 lbs and would like to be down to around 135 lbs by the time my holiday arrives.
I'd really love to see any success stories from people who have achieved similar targets and are of a similar height.
Here's to a great 2013 for us all!

  • My goal is to lose 45 pounds in 2013. I am 5'4" and weigh 180 pounds. I have also been a yo-yo dieter over the years. This is the heaviest I have ever been. The success stories here are remarkable and I hope to post my own success story by June 30. I look forward to sharing this journey with you and hope we can motivate each others along the way. Happy New Year!
  • Hey, me too! I had an old account here and was successful for a while (went from 159 lbs. to 149 lbs. in 2 months), but the all-you-can-eat nature of my meal plan had been a killer, and I'm up to 164 lbs, the heaviest I've ever been. I'm 5'4, so it seems that we're in a similar boat. My goal for 2013 is to lose around 50 lbs. I'll determine the final number when I'm closer to it and can gauge my level of fitness less arbitrarily. Anyways, I'm looking forward to a more successful year this year than last.
  • Hi...I too need some extra motivation! I'd like to lose about 50 lbs by June. I'm 39 and need to be healthy for myself and my kids! Hoping to reach my goals! I also need to get in the habit of exercise! Good luck ladies!!!

I too would like to continue losing weight. I want to be a UK size 10 (which is US size 6). I was a size 18/20 and I'm now a size 16/18. I don't know what weight a size 10 would be on me though so I'm going by clothing sizes. I don't want to look too sick.

    Hey Everybody,
This is my first time logging in since....forever ago. Not quite sure how to even use this site, but this topic sure stood out at me. I'm 5'3, 48 years old and hecka out of shape and overweight....The wii fit tells me I'm obese! What a shocking start to my new year. I actually gained 23.5 lbs last year after quitting smoking. I'd like to try to join with all of you and get this body moving and losing. So can anyone point me in the right direction to start....?Thanks and I look forward to committing to this and losing at least 30 lbs this year.
