How to keep on going?

I can always get my stamina up in the morning. I can be good about the foods I eat and my choices and portion sizes, then come afternoon snack time, I start going nuts. It always starts slow, then I am snacking while cooking supper then I am having two bedtime snacks. Any advice? This is my worst time of the day for me to be healthy. I am a stay at home mom, I run a business, plus have a toddler and home school my two older children. So it's not that I'm bored, I am pretty busy, but not too busy to not snack. lol

I think it's great you have an idea when the snacking starts etc, that way you can plan around it. I'd suggest finding a bunch of low cal snacks you like and having them on hand. Even try and budget for them in the rest of your days calories? Eating a much larger lunch might get you though the snacking period. That's my 2 cents worth. Good luck with it.0

Thanks for the help. I will try to round out my lunch a little more. We are trying to do only healthy snacks and doing the six mini meals, but maybe I need to focus on having my lunch be my biggest meal of the day. We do protein shakes in the morning for breakfast, because neither my hubby or I like to eat in the mornings. We are coffee and on the go people, so I think that's what prompts my snacking, I don't usually eat til noon and then it's nonstop the rest of the day. We just started the protein drinks in the morning and I've noticed a difference in my day already. Thanks again.0
