I'm not gf, but I have two sisters who are.

Try not to substitute too much gluten products for their gluten free counter parts (i.e. gluten free bagels for a normal bagel, gf pretzels for regular pretzels). Just because potato chips are gluten free doesn't mean you can eat them all the time and feel awesome. And not to say that you can't have pizza on a gluten free crust, you might just want to examine how many grains/carbs are part of your diet and see how you can eliminate or get a nutritious gf substitute.

Check out quinoa - it'll be your new best friend.

The best trick is to stick to a nutritious diet of fruits, veggies, lean proteins, dairy. Read your labels, gluten is in a lot of things (barley, malt flavorings, etc). And you won't be able to get fast food anymore because everything breaded shares the same fryers as french fries.

Google will point you to a lot of resources online. There's plenty of blogs out there that have recipes and tips.
