Hello my MFP lovelies!!!
In honor of everyone's New Years Resolutions, I wanted to challenge each of you with this: Don't forget to treasure every aspect of the journey you are on, no matter what season of life you're in. I think so many times we keep our eyes only on the goal and forget to enjoy the view and celebrate the little things. Living life that way can easily lead to never being content or happy. Don't get me wrong, goals are amazing and necessary to have, but this year, celebrate the journey and learn to live in the present. Enjoy getting healthy/fit even before you achieve your goals knowing that you are bettering yourself. Learn in the process of overcoming your obstacles and weaknesss. Rejoice in the fact that you have imperfections. Commend yourself for taking the first step to get out of debt before you see the rewards. Every day is such a wonderful blessing and none of us are promised tomorrow, so learn to be happy in the present and don't take a single breath forgranted.
People often ask me how it's possible that I'm so happy and bubbly all the time and honestly, this is my answer. No, I'm not financially where I want to be, yes, I still have a lot of fitness and health goals to achieve, no I don't have an album out yet or a publishing deal, yes I get jealous and insecure at times.. those are all goals of mine to achieve and overcome, but I can promise you that I will wake up every day lucky to have the chance to put a smile on other people's faces and enjoy God's beauty all around me. Don't take this stage of your life forgranted. There is a purpose for everything
Love you guys!!! Have an incredible 2013
