Xmas weight gain/plan of action?

How much did everyone gain over the holidays?
I let loose for two weeks and I'm 7lbs heavier as a result! It is probably mostly water weight, however I DID eat an unbelievable amount of food!
I'm in maintenance mode so obviously I was going to relax and enjoy my Christmas, however this little muffin top has got to go!
What is everyone's 'plan of action' to banish the holiday weight?
My plan:
Eat a balanced breakfast/lunch/dinner each day with fruit, yogurt or nuts as snacks.
No food three hours before bed.
Lots of water and green tea.
30 minutes to 60 minutes of exercise five times per week, with walking whenever possible added in.
This is what has ALWAYS worked for me and although it wont be a super quick fix, I have all the patience in the world.
How about you?

I put on 7 lbs in one week WHAT THE HELL I wasn't even going that crazy, I just didn't track for a week. Anyways lots and lots of walking and no meat for January should fix it. I was supposed to give up booze as well but no way can you cook a Sunday roast without a few beers.0

I am in maintenance too and put on 3kgs over four days at Christmas. As soon as I got back to logging, and drinking water, eating well etc, it dropped back in three days. Which proved most of it was water weight and my "food" baby.
So, no plan, just life0 -
My POA! (Plan of action)
-eat a protein rich breakfast every morning
-stick to my planned plant based meals
-avoid processed sweets and white carbs
-drink an ungodly amount of water and 2/3cups green tea every day
-60 minutes exercise 6x week, three of them intense!
This will be a good reminder for me : )0 -
Glad to hear I'm not the only one!0

I didn't gain over the holidays but I do have those pesky 5 lbs to go! I just booked an island vacation for three months from now so I will be stepping it up.
My Plan:
- Exercise at least 45 minutes, 6 days per week (previously I was doing about 30 min 5 days per week, sometimes 4 days)
- Really watch the white stuff (pasta, rice, flour, sugar...not cutting it out completely, just not making any of it a big part of my calories for a day)
- Increase veggies A LOT. I've been slacking.
That's it! I will also probably be putting my new bikini on all the time to track mirror progress too.0 -
Didn't gain a pound....0

I learned my lesson last year when I went on a binge for 2 weeks and gained 8 pounds. This year I didn't gain. I'd say just get back to your healthy eating and you'll see it come off in no time. Good luck0

I gained 11lbs and I could not care less! Of course it bothers me as most of that weight is in my waist-thigh area but it's ok. I rather had gained those 11lbs than just plain not eating for the 25th till the 31st like I did a few years back.
I was my second post-ED holiday season (the other one being only 4 months into recovery) so it was great experiencing the "normal" weight gain and overeating/overdrinking with family and friends, it made me feel normal for a change.0 -
I gained 4lbs over the xmas week...but I was also on vacation at a resort where I ate at a buffet at 'least' 2x a day and then drank wayyyyy too much beer! Those all inclusive vacations will kill ya! I went with a nice cut mid-section and by the time I left I looked a tad bloated...was surprised I only gained 4lb...since being back though and back on my regular schedule I've dropped 2 of the 4lbs...not so bad!0

I managed to put on 10lbs just on Xmas. It's all water weight as I only had 6000 - 7000 cal that day. 5 of it's gone already. Don't do anything special just get back on track and don't worry about it.0
