Would a cup of tea (caffeine free) count as drinking water? I thinking about drinking a cup in the evening instead of having dessert or a snack.

This; I drink about 2-3 cups a day currently (down from about 7-8!). It does all count, as does the water in fruit, veggies, soups, etc. But I only count my 2 litres a day as water I've had from a glass or bottle.0 -
I'd say as long as its caffeine free - something like an herbal tea - it would count as water.0

I count herbal tea as "water." If it has caffeine in it or calories, I do not.0

Last time I checked all that was in tea was, let's see, WATER and some flavoring, so Yes - tea is water. If you add honey, milk, sugar, etc be sure to log those calories. :drinker:0
