    Born in Sandusky, raised on Catawba Island. Worked at Cedar Point for two summers as a teen. Graduated U. of Toledo, moved to Parma then Medina after my 1st marriage.

    Anyone my age or close to it (53) remember a local Toledo-based TV show for kids called "Patches & Pockets"? Pockets was my mom. :smile:

    Hi everyone I live in Cincinnati. I just joined today. I am a disabled vet and I curently can't work out due to back surgery back in Nov. but I figured I can start changing the way I eat and when the doctor says I can do more than walking and lifting 5lbs I start adding work out to my daily activitys. the doc does encourge me to walk as much as I can handle but dont have anyone I can go walk with and dont like walking alone if anyone knows were I could go to walk that is safe and my have place to sit down when I need too I have a treadmill but I dont think I'm ready for that for safty reasons.. I currently have 75lbs I would like to lose. I have been here in cincinnati for a couple years now and dont know but a few people and looking for some new friends that is on the same journey I am on. I know I can't do this on my own I have tryed but have given up and would love some help to keep me on the right track this time.

    I moved to Columbus a year ago, and we're loving it so far. I'm looking to meet other moms to work out with. I've got 2 boys, ages 8 and 4.
