I set mine up yesterday and so far so good. Everything is syncing etc....
I walked on the treadmill this A.M. for 35 minutes at a 15% incline. Total calories burned was 400 (according to my HRM)
I know that the fitbit does not calculate the incline for the calories burned, only steps. I also know that I am able to adjust the exercise calories with the fitbit website. So I guess my question to all you experts is How much should I adjust? I am not sure how many calories the fitbit gave me during that time. Do I simply add the 400 calories to the website? or attempt to calculate the difference? If that is the case....how do I go about doing that?
Thanks in advance to anyone with a response. Truly appreciated!!!

Ok have a fitbit also. At first I was going crazy with it. So what I do now is sync the fitbit with mfp and I type the number into mfp under excercise. After a while you will almost know about what you burned. For instance i take spin class 3 times a week. MFP gave me a real lot of calories before I got the fitbit. So if fitbit said 400 I would go into MFP and enter spinning at vigorous pace and type the 400 fitbit gave me. If it turns out to be more fitbit will adjust it and add it or subtract it. If fitbit agrees with mfp it will say 0.
Fitbit gives you less but i find it to be very accurate. I know I talk in circle but hopefully you got the jest of it.0 -
So what you're saying is that I still add the 400 calories into myfitnesspal that I earned?0
