Hi all,
Sometimes I like doing two workout classes in a row, Im able for it, I enjoy it, and I have rest days during the week too. Question is, Ive seen some stuff online(will find a link) which says there is absolutely no point working out for more than 30 mins per day, and 60 mins is the exact same as 30 mins.
So am I wasting my time?

If you enjoy working out then I say you are not wasting your time. Everyone is different so I like to use all healthcare and nutrition guidelines as just that, guidelines not rules that are set in stone. Everyone is different so something that works for one person may not be the best thing for another. I do what I enjoy and most importantly, listen to my body. I know not answering your question directly but just offering my two cents.0

It may be that there are greatly diminishing returns, as your body can only be stimulated so much in order to transform itself to become 'a little fitter' for next time.
Of course, doing more cardio will let you burn more calories... but you should watch out from having too large a defecit. I.e. eat back enough so that your defecit isnt bigger than 20%.
So it can have benefits to do more if a) you enjoy it b) you like to eat more while losing at the same rate.0 -

False.
Of course there's a problem if you increase intensity/length of training too quickly. I've always gone by don't increase mileage (or time) by 10-20% a week.
If you feel good are are comfortable working out for longer, you're going to have no problems as long as you're eating correctly.
Until you start getting to 20-25 hours per week (for iron distance race training maybe, or perhaps event 10-15 hours for marathon training), you're not going to have problems with over exertion from 30-60mins+ per day.0
