Question about TDEE/BMR

Okay, first, here's what I got when I used the calculators:
BMR 1739
TDEE 2685
Diff 946/2 = 473
1739+473 =2212 calories/day
This is based on my current activity level, which isn't much. So my question is: Do you only add to your BMR once you've lost enough to get to 1500 or once you've started lifting? And lets say I'm completely restricted from exercise for 4 weeks. Would I just shoot for my BMR or would I go ahead and add the difference from TDEE? I looked around but didn't completely grasp whether or not this is a good plan for me at this point. Thanks in advance!

I rounded on mine so in your case I would net 1,800 and eat exercise cals. I got a HRM and know my lazy day number and anything above that is added to cals to consume. As you lose then the net number will go down but as you exercise more the number of calories to eat will go up. If you want the same number daily then go with the 2,200 and enter your exercising in notes and not under cardio. Refigure after every 10 punds lost.0
