Does anyone know of a good cookbook with low calorie recipes that are good? I have been eating more healthy and during the day it's pretty easy but the tough time is at night for dinner because my husband likes the fatty greasy dinners so i need to find new recipies that are healthy and taste great so that he will be willing to eat them with me.

Hungry Girl! I can't say enough about how wonderful the cookbooks and website are! It's www.hungry-girl.com and there are a bunch of free recipes out there. Also she has 3 cookbooks, one is a cookbook of recipes under 200 calories a serving! They're great, healthy, and delicious. You won't know your food isn't loaded with unhealthy calories, it's still delicious.0

I was sitting at the table with my boyfriend the other evening and my Weight Watchers in 20 minutes cookbook was on the table and he started to flip through and was pointing out the things he thought looked really good. He found a lot of things that he wanted to try. I haven't gotten to use it much yet but the recipes seem pretty simple and they give all the nutritional facts you will need (calories, fat, fiber, etc.) I don't do the weight watchers points but I do love that the cook book includes the calories and stuff you need for MFP!0

thanks for the hungrygirl.com tip!! my bday is may fist so i told my husband to get me that cookbook! i'm not a "foodie" and i prefer ease of planning to actually cooking, but those meals look do-able, appetizing, and simple enough for me to whip up while stillo watching my calories!!
and forthose on weight watchers, the recipes also list the points value of each food item.
again, thanks so much!0 -

better homes and gardens (the old red plaid cookbook) has a cookbook called "eat well, lose weight" in a binder, easy to use in the kitchen.
we have not had a bad recipe out of it yet. we have a couple recipes that i made notes on them that next time i may tweak them a little (more spice), but really it has been great. and it is not just a diet book, but focuses on healthy eating- low sodium, etc. easy directions & nutritional guide for all foods. they also list weight watcher exchanges.
my husband (who is not dieting) finds the recipes very flavorful & tasty. (he sometimes will eat a larger portion, not often)0 -
Rocco Dispirito's new book, "Now Eat This!" Fabulous and not one recipe over 350 calories0

I really love my Best of Cooking Light cookbook. I probably use it three or four times a week at least.0
