Cafe lunch help!

I've just been for breakfast at the dreaded local cafe, I have no idea how to calorie the meal I had! I had a omelette with ham but it filled half my plate, the other half was lettuce and onion... Could anyone help?

Was it a 2 egg omelette, 3 egg omelette? You could look up the individual ingredients on MFP ie. 3 eggs, ham, etc. and it will add them up for you.

When they advertise omelette they normally say how many eggs are in it. If you know that, you can make a guesstimate.

I'd go for 80cals each egg, splash of milk, add a spoon of oil/butter that it was probably cooked in, 50g ham, and you'll be close enough.

just find a restaurant made omlette in the database, it will probably be close enough.

500 would be a good guess, assuming it was a 3 egg with ham, cooked in butter or oil. That's assuming no cheese...or toast, etc.

The eggs would be 240, the ham another 100 to 150 and the butter can easily hit 100 with just one tablespoon.

I work in a cafe and our omelette is 3 eggs, splash of milk, about 10 grams of butter and one slice of thick ham which is around 60-70 grams.
