I normally run 3 to 4 times a week and cardio strength train 2 days a week. I have a 1/2 marathon coming up at the end of January and I am so far behind in training it's not funny. I got sick in October and it seems like it has been one thing after another. I have but on 15 lbs!! Should I back off on the weights for a bit and add more cardio (elliptical, spinning) along with my runs to drop this weight or what??? I have maintained my weight now for quite sometime and this is killing me!! Suggestions please!! I feel terrible>>>>>>>>>:( Think I may start to moooooo!!

From a running point of view if you are attempting to get ready for a half marathon then 6 sessions of cardio is probably not going to do you any good as a couple of rest days is as important as running. They give you time to recover and thats when you actually get fit!
If you lost weight before what did you fitness wise then? if it worked before will it not work again?0 -
You need rest days.0
