How do you handle fat days?

I'm having issues with appearance right now. I've lost about 15-20lb so far right now, (haven't recently weighed myself) and having issues with how my body is kind of transforming. I feel like some fat on me is getting bigger than it use to be. (Like back fat/belly/thigh) I feel like hiding in hoodies to hide it but need to stop doing that (I always use to/still do wear hoodies constantly). How did ya'll handle what I call fat days?

I know exactly these sort of days...I haven't lost anything lbs wise but inches i have. I feel my bottom half is much smaller than my top-half (which has never been the case) and I feel a little uncomfortable in my own skin when tops that used to look okay on me now in my own mind don't look great.
I usually have a good old cry to myself after trying on top after top.
Once all the emotion is out, I try on some of them again - I focus on which bits look good.
If anyone is there, I seek a second opinion.
Even if it I am not TOTALLY happy - I get the courage to step out of my comfort zone with my head held high and think "in a months time it'll look even better" - after all...a lot about weight loss is stepping out of that comfort zone...i just look at it metaphorically, use downfalls as a confidence booster.0 -
I get my boyfriend to go for a walk/run with me. It gets me moving and the time with him is nice when I am feeling down.0

I workout, look at old pics of me to compare what I used to look like to now, put on clothes that used to be more snug, do my makeup, dance, and sometimes cry and sulk for a bit too lol. Then I remember how hard I have been working and that this is all in my head because I still look and feel better during my fat day, then I did when I weighed more on my good day however long ago. But that's just me. =]0

I also find days like these hard. Today is one of them and when i finally do get dressed i plan on wearing a baggy top tbh. Days like this i can't deal with wearing anything close fitted, i feel too self concious. I guess i just make sure i stick within my limits food wise and hope to wake up feeling better as a result. Sorry i have no real advice, i also struggle with this.0

go lift heavy things in the gym for a while.
go for a run.
get out and do something that it doesn't matter what i look like, i know i'm good at it and so its a good reminder that what you look like and the dumb number on the scale aren't all that matter in the long run.0 -
Oh, I am so glad you brought this up, OP! Honestly, for some silly reason I had the same feelings when I was losing the last 4 pounds last year. (So intellectually I knew I was in the low range of my healthy weight range, etc after losing the first 41 pounds)
So I tried wearing layers and more dresses that were a bit looser fit and just worked in a few more steps and drank more water. I would read blogs on how to dress to look thinner.
Now I dress to optimize feeling and looking great. Sometimes we have to abandon what we thought was our signature style and go with different things - for example, I wear fitted tunic tops, but no longer wear short sleeved white t-shirts tucked into my jeans. I wish I could wear those cute suits with a jacket that stops at the waist, but they aren't flattering on me. But I look great in jeans and fitted button down blouses as well as those long boyfriend sweaters, once again, not the baggy ones. I wear stove pipe jeans, not flared or leggings.
Google Project 333 and start exploring your best look -- go try on different clothes and plan on changing your style to match your new body. have fun !0 -
Ps... also, my old hoodies made look fat, had to go with a couple of new ones that were more fitted and tunic style, BTW!!0
