The 100 calorie whole wheat sandwich thin.

OMG! These are so awesome, tasty and versitile, I can't get enough of them. Want a breakfast sandwhich? Toast a thin, scramble up some egg whites and top with fresh spinach! Or, toast your thin, schmear it with natural peanut butter and sprinkle on some raisins or apple slices (or both!). Yum!

Want a burger...have one... with only 100 clories + whole grains + fiber...slap a burger (turkey or lean beef or veggie) with some fresh made (mayo-free) slaw on a thin and knock yourself out! Or heat up some trukey back, slice a tomato and slap some romaine on there for a BLT.

You can lay them out flat with low cal mozz cheese, tomatoe and spinach and mushrooms and toss in the oven ot toaster oven for a quick and healthy pizza.

Need a sweet snack? Grab a thin and put some low cal cream cheese and sliced fresh fruit of choice (bananas or peaches or pears YUM) drizzle with honey (optional) and enjoy.

I'm loving that these are becoming more popular and easier to find!

Love, Love, LOVE these!

(No, I don't work for the geniuses who make these, they are just that good!)

I love them too. I like them best toasted with my egg and turkey bacon for breakfast. I also put lean roast beef with a slice of cheese heated in the microwave for a tasty toasted sandwich. They're lower in cals and higher in fiber than bread.

Yes! They sure do come in handy for pizza's and other open face sandwiches as well as other foods you shared. The texture is great and 100 cal for the 2 is great when figuring in cals. I agree they are much easier to find now too!

Gonna try your scrambled eggs topped with Spinach, sounds healthy and yum, thanks for all the ideas!:drinker:

Thanks for sharing -now I have to go find them at the grocery! I don't want to get bored with my usual food choices because then I'll have a hard time keeping this up.

I've seen them (a couple different varieties) at Wal-Mart and Meijer stores...I'm sure any chain grocery store will carry them. they have 8 in a pack, so one package shouljd last you the week. (Unless you're like me and have these sometimes twice a day!)
  • With the egg and spinach, a little bit of mozz chese is great, too! Or mushrooms. Very tasty! and Very Mediteranian.

They are fantastic - I recently discovered them too, and they seem to have popped up everywhere in lots of different brands!

As for carbs, they typically have around 21.

All Sandwich thins are NOT created equal. The calories are about the same, but Earth Grains has less sodium than Orowheat, and both have more fiber than Franz.

Also, the Thomas mini whole wheat bagel is a good option as well as the thin. I have become "thinned out" from eating the sanwich thins too much lately, so the bagels have been a nice change.

I just picked up the everything bagel (with a coupon, yay!), and I can't wait to try it. It's nice to have a bread item that won't wipe out your calories for the meal.

I really like the sandwich thins but I have recently tried the Pepperidge Farm version, they are called "Deli Flats" and i like them even more! They are alittle more bread like, i get the 7 grain kind. SOO good.

Thanks for mentioning the Thomas "everything" bagel thin. As luck would have them, my store had an endcap displaying them. I decided to try them because of the prior post. YUMMY!!

I have invented a new sandwich/snack. 1 of the bagels, a tablespoon of low fat cream cheese, and cucumber slices. Fantastic!! and less than 150 calories!! Now I want one, but can't do it now!!Phooey.
