Wedding to prepare for...lifetime to be happy

I have been on this website before, actually 6 years ago when I was 18 I started tracking my weight lose. I have had tons of ups and downs but the past year I have been filled with downs. I am not sure why either! I got engaged, graduated from college, bought a new car, and got a dream job as a teacher. Needless to say I am physically and emotionally drained. Because of coaching, I rarely get home before 8 o clock and just want to do nothing. In the past I would have the time to work out for a hour or two a day...but there is just not enough time in the day. I have read some on this program, couch to 5k. I started it yesterday and because I was always a athlete, just a overweight one, I was able to have no problem keeping up the minute jog minute and a half walk. Slow and steady will win the race...it has been many years for me to finally understand that. I am eating about 1700 calories a day and trying this 30 min program 3 times a week.
Getting in shape is not only important to me but the family I soon am going to create. My finance is overweight too and has struggled with his weight. He has tried several things but he is not as lucky as I am when it comes to health. I think losing weight will not only bring me happiness but will give him some.motivation that it can be done. I AM NOT FAILING THIS TIME...I have failed too many times before.
Here's where you come in :). Over the years I have found this is much easier when you have friends helping you with secrets, motvation, and well just being there to share the joy of losing half a pound! Please add me if you feel you are up for the job... :) and thanks for reading my story!
