I've been doing this for 5 days now. I think it's going good traking my food and water, but lacking on exercise. Would like some advise on fun things to do for exercise. Poping in a video and going on the treadmill can be a bit boring. Any weight loss advise : would be good too. Thanks Diane:smile:

  • Welcome! Since its getting nice do you have a local Nature Center that you can walk at? Thats what I plan doing. Its so pretty and gives a great work out.
  • My favorite think to do for some light exercise is going to the local animal shelter and walk dogs! Don't forget the high knees to keep your heart rate up!
  • Swimming burns calories like crazy and I always enjoy it. :)

Wish I had great advise for you. My mom has the Wii fitness and I was thinking of borrowing that for a while just to break up my routine and try something different. Hopefully you can try something like that or taking your workouts outside and be able to enjoy the day and some nice weather!

Thanks for the great ideas I try them.
  • Where do you live? Do you live by the beach. Walking in the sand at a quick pace and lifting your legs high while walking really kicks my butt. It's so much more intense than just walking on the pavement. You sweat much more, you can really feel the cardio. You can feel your heart rate really pick up, you can really feel your legs working and you get to take in the sights and feel the sand on your feet. Yes I do it bare foot and let the water hit my feet. I normally walk about 45 minutes on the track, but so far I have only made it up to 17 minutes walking in the sand. Tomorrow's goal will be 20 minutes.
