motivational quotes... do you have any?

One of the ways that I try and stay motivated eveyday is by having different quotes around me...

I have a brown envelope that has a bunch of different movitational quotes in it, and every morning when I get to work I just blind pick one and pin it by my computer so that I can look at it when I am feeling restless or weak, and crave something that deep down I know i should not have..

Does anyone have any good quotes that they dont mind sharing?

David Viscott: You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be.

Eleanor Roosevelt: You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
  • Marvin Phillips: The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!
  • Although these aren't entirely weight loss related, they could still apply.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi - "Be the change you wish to see in the world".
Thomas A. Edison - “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
George Eliot - “It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
Theodore Roosevelt - “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

    And my favourite:
Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland - “I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then. ”

I don't know where it is from but here is my favorite: "Don't give up what you want most for what you want right now"
  • Gonna run 'till I don't jiggle..

    Motivation enough for me ;)

I'm not really a "quote person", I usually can't remember any, but this is helping me a lot lately.

"Transformation is not a future event, it is a present activity"
    Heard it from Jillian Michaels.

I'm always planing and thinking about the future... what I'm going to achieve, what I'm going to do to achieve it... And I'm so busy making plans that I never have the time to put them to practice  I'm a constant dreamer and eternal procrastinator. So this quote helps me to put my feet on the ground and get things done.

Edit: In fact, I like that quote so much, that I'm making it my title on my profile

No matter how slow you run it is still faster than someone sitting on a couch.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I must face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me and when it is gone I will turn my inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain

    -Dune

    Wordy, but poignant IMHO

Do not know who said those:

If you want it hard it enough, you do what it takes to get there!

If you still look cute at the end of a workout, you have not trained hard enough!

When more comes to mind, I will post them!
