I will get to my goal weight!!

Hi All -

I am finally taking this seriously after hating how it fit (or should I say don't) fit into clothes. I started working out on Thursday the 27th, decided I wasn't starting on a Monday and not waiting till New Years. I made a promise to myself that I would do at least 30 minutes of exercise of some form everyday. I have kept that promise for a week! Whoo-hoo!! I have also changed how I am eating, both what I eat and how much. Consciously choosing healthier foods & asking myself if I am really hungry or habit eating.

Any insight, ideas & things that have worked for you that you are willing to share would be fantastic!!!

    Welcome to MFP, you are on the right path and everything you are doing is exactly what I did in 2012 and lost 80 lbs so keep at it and you will get to your goal weight. I am 6 lbs shy of my goal and the last 10 lbs seems to be the hardest but I will do it in 2013. I honestly don't think I would have done what I have if not for MFP and the friends I have met on here that has kept me motivated and have encouraged me so much. Good Luck - You Got this!!!!
