Don't give yourself an "out"!!

You decide you want to lose weight, get in shape, get healthier. When you set your goals, remove the word "IF" from your vocabulary. Instead of saying "I want to lose 40 lbs and if I do, I will get a bikini". Instead, say "I AM GOING to lose 40 lbs and WHEN I do, I'm buying a bikini". Remove the doubt from your words and you remove the doubt from your mind!

Just wanted to share that...when I removed my doubts from my mind, I removed my limitations!

It's already been set in my mind that I WILL be down to 16% BF by year end (was measured at 18.6% on Thanksgiving - motivation to keep going!).

    I agree.

I would add that removing the word "try" from your vocabulary is great, too. Don't "try" to do your workouts this week, don't "try" to stick to your diet- just do it.

Absolutely! When I say I'm gonna "try" to do something, I've already given myself that option to fail!! Thanks for the reminder!
