hey guys. i'm newer to this and need some friends for support! i have used it in the past, but never on a regular basis. i'm 26 years old, i work full time and go to school part time. i have lost 30 pounds in the past with diet and exercise, but i have "let myself go" and have been slowly putting the weight back on and losing my muscle tone. in my mind, i want to lose the weight and get in shape again, as i get upset everyday looking in the mirror, but i find myself struggling to get to the gym and to put down the bad food! i would love some insight from others! all the support and advice i can get would be greatly appreciated!

Turn that frown upside down! Don't beat yourself up about the weight gain, you have the power to change that. This site has great people willing to help support you. Good luck with your journey.0

Hi Amanda! I am new here, just joined on the first. But joined to get motivation from others as well. I joined a gym and am just making it a part of my daily routine. I do seem to feel better when I go so that helps with wanting to get back in there again. i also like to look at and read the success stories/pictures on here and know that in 5 months I can be a success story like one of the ones I am reading. That seems to help alot too!0

Hey Amanda,
You are not alone in your struggle to re-motivate yourself and get back on track. I work full time and go to school online full time. Some nights I come in and want to crawl in bed. Diet and exercise are the farthest thing on my mind. I lost 28 and gained back 10. I still have 25 to lose. I get mad at myself because I worked so hard but, it was my choices that caused the gain so now, I'm trying to keep track using this site and get back to making better choices. I would love to help out any way I can, b/c I'm looking for the motivation myself. You'll get there. Don't beat yourself up. We are human and sometimes we have to give in to our body's wants for therapeutic reasons. LOL.....that's what I tell myself. A treat now and then is good for the soul. The holidays messed me up b/c I love traditional cooking and baking. I know I should have indulged moderately however, I enjoyed myself to the hilt and now I'm back on the road to healthier choices.0 -
My opinion would be that just workout 20 min a day...it can be anything anytime anywhere...and about diet, choose one thing to delete from your diet and stick with it...mine was coffee...I could drink it all day everyday, now it's one cup only... Good luck!!!0
