Smoothies!

I used to hate smoothies, but now I LOVE them. I would love some different smoothie recipes that are pretty low cal.

The one I make all the time is 339 cals and consists of 1/2 cup milk, 1 banana, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 6 oz light vanilla yogurt, and 1 tbsp of honey. It is super yummy!

So what's your favorite smoothie??

    I love Smoothies too! But the only way they fill me up is if I add some protein, like peanut butter.

    One of my favorites is:

    2 Bananas, 1 cup ice, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 cup fresh strawberries, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 cup soy milk (or regular milk), and 1 tbsp honey if I'm having a sweet tooth day.

    This usually makes enough for two smoothies, and I take one to work with me, or save it for the next day.

    I will also put my multivitamin in the blender- I hate taking vitamins, so this way I can't taste them or have to swallow them!

    My faves include whey protein.

    1 scoop vanilla(or you fave flavor) whey protein powder
    1 cup unsweetened frozen strawberries
    1 cup frozen blueberries
    Frozen banana(optional)
    2 tbsp ground flax seeds

    Lots of fiber and my protein powder has 27 grams in it so it is yummy and filling and you can alternate different fruits. If you make it thick it is a good replacement for ice cream. :)
