Like Jen, I have never been married and no real hope of ever getting married - not sure I even want to but just to play along, this is kind of what I would want

Well, not a dress but we didn't have time. This was a few days before he left for Afghanistan. I was also 14 weeks pregnant. (:0 -
I don't even want to get married, but dang, I love me some bridal couture~
At my dream/imaginary wedding, I would wear something like this:
or this
or this
or this
(hey, as much as I am not a big fan of strapless, if my boobs looked like that....)
AND THEN I would change for the reception/afterparty/whatever it's called into this:
I just really love pretty dresses... Why can't I just wear these things all the time? Why do I have to make a lifelong commitment to another person just to get to wear a big pretty white princess dress? So unfair.0 -
all these dresses are so pretty, i just help one of my bff's pick hers out and she looked amazing!0

I want to play! Love all your gorgeous dresses, ladies (and gentlemen!) We eloped spontaneously, and had a reception 2 months later. Here is us the day we married:
And the renewal/reception we held at our house. Can you believe my dress cost under $200? I loved it, and hope to wear it again soon!
AMAZING!!! Where is your reception dress from? Exactly what I want0 -
If I posted my dress here you would all laugh. I was married 24 years ago so that should tell you what it looked like. Okay enough of the laughing... wink0

This was me in my gown:
It converted to a short sleeve gown for the reception:
I felt amazing in my gown.
It's about 3 sizes too big now though.0 -

My dress...I always have trouble posting pics on here...lol. But this was my dress. I have another picture on my profile, but again...always have issues...lol0 -
I loved my dress, I had it made to order from China! I got married in Whitby (UK) which is very Gothic and is where Bram Stoker was supposedly inspired and wrote Dracula there. So I didn't have a white wedding. We had the registry office wedding and then hired a boat, then a reception at a castle. Here's a few pics, had a wonderful day
Our cake toppers lol (I'm Pagan and he's a Manchester City fan)
