Hi
I have a question about pre run carb loading.
So, I ran yesterday, today is a rest day..... BUT this eve I need to carb load to do a 14k run in the morning. I know I dont need many carbs, but I need some.
My question is:
Do I stick to my calories today and eat less carbs for dinner.... or do I go into deficit today knowing I will burn it off tomorrow?

Hey, 14k isn't that far, I wouldn't worry too much about carb loading. I don't go over on days before long runs, but I do make sure I get carbs after, so I tend to eat quite a bit on running days (which is one of the reasons why I run!)
But, you probably just need to figure out what works for you - as long as overall in the week you are within your goal, I don't see that a little over on any given say is a big deal.
