Here's my go-to smoothie. If you want to have it as a snack and drop the calories don't add the protein powder.

    frozen mango 1/4th cup
    frozen strawberries 1/4 cup
    half banana
1 tablespoon maca powder (or add in a tea as half your liquid = for energy)
1 cup of orange juice or add in tea or part tea part juice
1/4th to 1/2cup of ice depending on the consistancy you like
1/2cup of greens of your choice, I use a super green mixture with bok choy and spinach

Add these extras to use this as a filling meal

    protein powder, I use spirtein
1 tablespoon of chia or ground flax seeds

Fresh berries and milk of your choice, + yogurt (optional) great way to boost your vitamin intake. Banana + milk + yoghurt good too. Or any other combination you dare to concoct. Have fun, yum yum!

    I've got two quick stock standards;

    1) Banana, Rice Milk, Fibre Powder Mix (carob, slippery elm etc)

    2) Big handful of baby spinach leaves, banana, water

It''s worth running a search, this comes up regularly.

Scoop protein powder, two servings frozen mixed berries, serving frozen spinach, half an avocado, liquid and natural sweetener to taste.
  • I have started drinking this on the days i train, it's lovely, filling and a nice protein hit.

1 cup low fat milk or coconut milk
Half a cup of oats nucked in microwave with water
    2 tablespoons natural yogurt
2 teaspoons low fat peanut butter
Tablespoon protein powder( I use chocolate)
    Couple of chunks of ice

Contains about 180 cals and 13g protein.
  • These are great! Thanks everyone!! :drinker:
