So Frustrated

I've been absolutely religious about spacing out my eating, keeping to things like NuGo bars for snack when I want something sweet, the whole bit - even through the holidays.
I have totally hit a plateau, and I am not happy about it. I am an athlete, so I work out at least 6x per week, and yet even with the diet modification I haven't dropped nearly enough weight to keep me happy. My goals are realistic - 1 to 2 lbs per week is all I'm looking for.
Any suggestions? I'm seriously looking at Atkins and wondering if I can fuel enough with just proteins?

    I never actually "felt good" when on Atkins (or a similar diet). I do however, have friends that have had great success with the "17 day diet", which appears to be low carb? Something to consider and it's "only" 17 days between phases. You can do ANYTHING for 17 days!!!
