Weigh it dry and log that number.0

It is about double. If you weigh 2 oz dry you will end up with about 4 oz cooked. Not exactly but close0

I weight mine dry as well and then cook it.
MOST pasta will tell you on the package what the cooked pasta equates in cup size but I try not to trust that and measure it dry before cooking.0 -
If you want the best accuracy, weigh the dry pasta. Cook it, drain it, then weigh the resulting pasta. Divide that by how many servings you cooked and that gives you the cooked weight. For example, the other day I cooked up 10 oz of dry pasta and wound up with almost 23 oz of cooked pasta. That comes to about 4.5 oz of cooked pasta per 2 oz dry serving. If you cook yours more or less, it will be a different weight.0

If you want to know what it will weigh cooked, weigh out 2oz before cooking and then weigh it again after cooking. Also, note any increase in volume if you want to be able to eyeball it in the future if you go to a restaurant or something. That way you'll be able to make a somewhat accurate guess if you know how much it looks like.0
