Shapers

I've had weight loss surgery and am down 133 pounds. I still have 93 to go to what my surgeon says is my "ideal" weight. However, I also have 2 hernias that were not fixed during surgery, but will be addressed later when I'm done losing. In the meantime, the more weight I lose the more the hernia above the waistline shows. So along with the sagging skin and remaining flab hanging around my waistline, I have this bulge on the right side of my stomach. I don't want to wear a size or two up to hide the bulge, I'm thrilled to be wearing an 18/20 for the first time in decades! So I need suggestions. Shapers? And if so, which ones? I can't afford anything really expensive, but don't want to waste my money either.

Go to Lane Bryant and try on the Spanx. They have several shapers for different figure types and I love them. They range in price from 15 to 30...but are a good quality. One I have had for about 5 years and it still looks and fits like new. Explain to them your situation and they will give you a size that fits snug now but will still work for most of the coming weight loss.0
