I made this today and it came out so good (made it up, lol).

I microwaved one pack of shirataki noodles for one minute.
Sauteed two garlic cloves and Pennsylvania Dutch canned portabella mushrooms (could use fresh) in 1/2 TB Brummel and Brown butter.

Once those were cooked I added the noodles and some garlic powder, onion powder, and salt, and mixed for one minute then added three Laughing Cow Light Garlic and Herb wedges. Mixed until melted, and it was excellent!

185 calories!

They are shiratake noodles, not shiitake. I personally think they are pretty gross , nutritionally void and overpriced. Just me though

Check out www.shirataki.com, and also they are carried at Asian markets.

I am a very picky eater, but these do not bother me! They pretty much take on the flavor of whatever they are cooked with.

I pay $1.69 for the pack of 8oz. They are packed in liquid.

Where did you get them at that price? Just wondering, but they were twice that where I got them!

Hannaford Market (NH) for $1.89, and the Asian market had them for $1.69.
