so I currently weigh 142lbs...but I want to be down to 130 by the end of march? do you guys think this is do-able as I don't really have that much to lose...I currently go to the gym 4-5 days a week and I've just started INSANITY which I will be doing 6 days a week...my daily calorie goal is 1600

thank you guys...I appreciate all feedback :D

The closer you are to your goal weight the slower you have to go so as not to lose lean body mass (muscles). Set MFP to 1/2 lbs per week and see how it goes. You may not make it all the way to 130, but just focus on losing weight the healthiest way and set reasonable expectations and you ought to be able to make quite a bit of progress.

12 lbs in 3 months is totally doable. Just set your MFP goal to 1lb of weight loss per week and be consistent and dedicated.

Depends on your current weight and height. You look pretty thin already in your photo...might take a little longer. Don't starve yourself to get there- it's not worth it.

    that's cool :) thanks :) GOOD LUCK!
  • I have a pretty similar goal. As long as I'm close, I'll be happy. (I won't fret about a 1-2 pound difference, either way.)

Sending you a friend request, perhaps we can cheer each other on. Happy New Year!
