How do you add a recipe?

There must be a place somewhere on this site to write in your own recipe for something, because I've seen lots of homemade foods listed in the food list. But all I can find under "add food" is for something that comes in a package with a brand name, and known quantities of protein, etc.. What I'm looking for is a place where I can add, for example, "Homemade Chocolate Pistachio Wafers" and say that the recipe makes 12 dozen cookies, 2 cookies is a serving, then add in all the ingredients in the recipe and have the web site tell me how many calories in a serving, grams sodium, etc. etc. It's gotta be here somewhere!

And while I'm at it, can anyone tell me where to find the FAQ's? Thanks!

Click on the "Food" tab. On the blue ribbon below the tab, look for "Recipe" and click it. Look for a green button that says "Enter New Recipe."

Not sure where, or if, there's an FAQ. But you can click on "Message Boards," then click on Search and enter a subject. This will search all the forums for a threads that contain your subject.
  • Thank you! I knew it had to be here somewhere. And now I've learned that TWO of my favorite little Christmas cookies (yes, still a few left) are only 77 calories!
