Warning! Shameless Self Boost!

i am excited! I had a meeting on Monday, at the History Society of the county where I live.

(btw i am a graphic designer in a small mountain town in NC)

I put in a bid to design the 'Bicentennial History of Haywood County' book that they are publishing, and they chose me!

I can't believe that there will be a historical reference book in the Library ( in book stores, and in peoples homes all over) that has MY sole name as the designer!!! Yay im going down in history!

and now you will view a couple of fun pieces of mine! (hey these boards are prime real-estate!)

    i went to WCU, a beautiful school that is quickly growing and has an AMAZING art program!!

    Appstate has a great Grapihic Design program also, one of my best buddies graduated from it a few years ago and he does amazing work. :smile:

    yeah, my dad went to western and pushed me hard to go there but I am not really a mountain girl. I will have to check out their design program though.

    I love art... just not very good at it (drawing, I mean)... I took several art classes in high school. I still do some photography as a hobby. I wanted to take a photography class in college but couldn't b/c of my major and the limited space... YOU have inspired me to check into the local classes at the nearby college. THANKS!!!

    I would also love to learn to sew... so amazing!!! GREAT WORK, Sparkles!!! :smooched:
