Hello everyone. Well I'm into my 5th day of a MFP program to loose 2lbs per week with diet and exercise. I'm a 48 year old married father of three sons. I was a very fit person in my youth. I raced bmx professionally as a teen, ran track & field, boxed, TaeKwondo, marathons, mountain biking and the list goes on. The problem is I let my job and family slowly take me away from my physical outlets and I began gaining weight around age 30. My weight went from 185 to 223 over the next 18 years. I'm still muscular but my mid section is huge...kinda like a power lifter. My goal on here is really watch my calories and exercise and get down below 200lbs, preferably 190lbs. My current weight loss plan is 2lbs/week. Day five and I'm down 3lbs but that could easily be water weight. I look forward to interacting with all you fine health-minded folks.
