Sausage and Tortellini Soup
Makes 10-12 servings
Prep. Time 10 minutes
Cook 8-10 hours on low (or 4-5 hours on high )
Ingredients*
2- cans of 14 1/2 oz. cans of Italian-style stewed tomatoes undrained.
3-cups of water
2-2 cups of cut green beans
1- 10 1/2 oz. can of condensed french onion soup
8oz, of cooked smoke turkey sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces.
2 cups of packaged shredded cabbage with carrots (cole slaw mix )
1- 9oz. package of refrigerated cheese filled tortellini (parmesan cheese optional)
Directions
1. In a 4-5 quart slow cooker combine tomatoes, the water,green beans, soups and sausage.
2. Cover and cook on low heat setting. 8-10 hours on high or 4-5 on low.
3.Stir in cabbage and tortellini. Cover and cook for 15 minutes more. ( if desired top each serving with parmesan cheese).
