Can recipes be open to share/view from my profile?

I was just curious if there was a way to share my recipes that I created and have them open to view the same way as it's open to view my diary? Would be nice.. because I do know that once my recipe is added to my diary, friends say it is clickable, but says they can't edit, so it seems no one can view what I really ate for that recipe in particular. Makes it pointless in my opinion to have it this way.
