I'm sure inches have been lost in places you didn't measure.

Some of it could be water weight. You should do a mix of cardio and weights. Lifting should be done 2 to 3 days a week and cardio around 3 as well. The mix will help you tone and lose even more weight! 11 pounds is still amazing though! Keep going for more and I'm sure you will lose inches!

Yes, where did you measure? Sometimes, especially for females the weight comes off where we least want it to. :(

I'm the opposite, I workout a lot including strength training so I have gained muscle and lost fat, so I lose inches faster than pounds. I tend to think if you stay on track it will all catch up. You dont see a bunch of people who lose 100 pounds and are still the same physical size. You'd have to be filled with air, lol. The scale and tape measure are both tools to gauge our success. It'll all fall into place so keep up the hard work!

I've heard someone say that losing weight is like unwrapping a roll of paper towels. Imagine each sheet is a pound of fat. You can unwrap a lot to start with and not see much difference in the roll, but once you get down to the end the shape of the roll changes a lot quicker.

Just stick with it, you'll see results with time! Consistency is key.

weirdly enough i started my diet for 1 week, then had a week off now have been on it since December 31st
and i'm not doing any exercise.

and i measured breasts, thighs, upper arms, and stomach.

Thanks for all the responses! wow
  • Well if you've lost 11lbs since december 31st and you're living on 800 calories per day, you won't be losing much fat, you'll be losing water and lean muscle. Get yourself a workout routine and educate yourself about nutrition and you'll start losing inches.
