Meal and shopping list planner

I'm just starting my "diet" and wanted to know if there are any good web sites that help with meal planning. A meal planner combined with a shopping list planner would be optimal! I've tried googling this but couldn't find anything that I liked or anything that was free. Thanks in advance

    Special K creates a meal planner for you, allows you to swap foods that you don't like and creates a shopping list for you based on your meal plan

    I have an Android but if you have an iPhone, the app makes it even easier.

    I just created a shopping list..but it only shows shopping lists for main courses. I guess I just have to wing it with veggies!!
