And if you want to stay indoors: Gym, treadmill, weights, bands, and any one of a myriad of DVD training programs (Zumba, Les Mills, Insanity, etc.)

Layers. Get a good base layer that will keep you warm. Layer above it with layers that can zip open as you warm up to release heat. Sweat wicking of course. Check out Target, I think their C9 brand is excellent for the money. Then stretch really well, warm up as much as possible.

Lastily, if you are running outside something to cover your mouth and keep you from breathing in frozen air.

    Good luck!!!!!

shoveling snow! maybe you can offer to your neighbors and get paid in the process!!!! i am small and would burn 300 calories in an hour doing that.

I am having trouble too. I hate the cold, hate coats and sweaters, hate wearing socks,,hate scarves, hate being cold...did I mentioned that one already? The dreary dark days make me tired and unmotivated.
Our new house has a 2nd story. I will be doing lots of laps on the stairs, I guess.and yoga. And indoor stuff like push ups and squats.

^this, I'm all about working out in the great outdoors. Dress in layers. You'll find what works best for you, oh and invest in some yaktraxs.
