Little black dress NSV

A couple of days ago I bought a dress @ Costco (yup, I did), a black, sleeveless sheath that cost all of $30. I chose the smaller of 2 sizes in my range, and today I got brave enough to try it on. Yay, it fits perfectly, like a glove! No Spanx needed, lol. Spent :30 parading around, trying different pairs of heels with it. Turns out DH prefers simple black pumps, not the sky -high metallic sandals I thought he'd like, lol. Now we need to go out somewhere fancy, darn :)

Since I'm a bit of a tomboy, it's my first "little black dress" EVER. I'm 60 years old, & as it turns out, pretty shallow.

Sounds so cool! I think we can pay attention more to what makes us happy at all ages. How fun!!! Love that strut of yours!!! I am a no-frills gal usually but sometimes it is so dang fun to get girly all over! I relate so that when I fix my hair I put on the *I am sexy and I know it* strut around the house, flipping my hair, stroking my locks and putting my face in my dh face. So hope you keep going for it!! Hope your honey brings you something special for the night -- :flowerforyou:
