My daughter was diagnosed with food allergies. Wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, and peanuts. There are several sensitivities as well, including cocoa.

I've spent the morning searching for books FOR my daughter, but I'm not having much luck finding anything on her level. She is 10 years old, but reads at a higher level. If you have any recommendations for her that would be great.

I want to make sure she is a part of her treatment and has the knowledge to make decisions away from home. I also want her to feel "normal" and have an understanding of how to take care of herself and why its important. There has to be some books out there written for children. I've found tons for myself, but I need some things for her. She loves cookbooks as well, so those suggestions are welcome also.

Thanks!

I do know of anything, but I am interested to see what others might suggest. I'd like to look into buying that book.
  • I'm bumping, still praying for an answer.

I found 2 at the library that I put on hold, but they are easy readers.

    Really hoping someone knows more!
  • This is my last bump. I'm giving up.

    Maybe the dietician can help.
