New to this site! So far love the fact that I can find what I'm eating quickly on my iphone!!
Do you all weigh in each night when your done putting in your food for the day? I don't own a scale and am curious if I should go get one.

If you are referring to body weight then it is a personal thing, but when you do weigh yourself try & make sure it is at same time & same clothes
For this reason most weigh in the morning first thing.
Depends on you if daily, weekly or even monthly
I weigh daily, just to check
The type of scale is again personal choice between digital or analogue
Because scales are pretty cheap IMO it worth getting one0 -
I weigh in once a month. I find daily your weight changes so often that I find it counter productive. There is a scale at the gym that also does body fat percentage, I use that one.
Take measurements and pictures as well. They help so much when the scale doesn't move.

Hi- I weight myself once a week and log it on Sunday mornings. Now I will admit that I step on the scale here and there just to peek but I only log it on Sundays.0

I am trying my best to only step on it once a week so I don't get discouraged and stop trying. However it is proving alot harder then I thought it would be.0

I use a scale called Aria from Fitbit, this scale does fat percentile etc, but what it really does is broadcast your weight to the Fitbit website and pass it on to MyFitnessPal, which means you cannot hide the results and this tends to make you think twice about going, "i'll be ok, one chocolate bar won't hurt" as you can see from my results, I had lost 14 ilbs now I am back to 11 lbs(Xmas) as you can see from my account, so now I am going hell for leather to get back and beyond 14 ilbs..
So yes, scales are a benefit, but do not let them freak you out,as some folk get water retention and your weight can bounce about a bit.

I would get one. I started this site without one, went and got one and when I weight in I actually weighed more than I had thought. So for accuracy reason YES.0

You do need scales if you want to know your weight loss accurately... I wouldn't weigh at the end of the day though, weighing when you have a stomach full of food seems counter productive?0

If you do not have a scale start by taking measurements. It is sometimes better to have measurements because it can often change even if your weight has not.0

I have also linked the fitbit account to trendweight.com, which adds a sensible trending dimension that the daily weigh-in needs.0
