pineapples!

I heard somewhere ( i think from the "Eat this, Not that" guy) that pineapple helps break down fat faster. So basically if you eat a fatty food with some pineapple, it will break down more fat before it has a chance to stay in your body. He used the example of if your going to have pizza, have pineapples on in. Does anyone know anything about this, I'm just curious because i hear a lot of people say they stay away from pineapple because it had lots of sugar.
I personally love pineapple and will eat it no matter what!

I don't stay away from any fruit that has sugar in it, so long as it's natural sugar and not in a can which would have high fructose corn syrup in it. I don't know about it breaking down fat, though. That'd be great!!0

Mmmmm pineapple. Definitely my favorite fruit. I have a whole bag of frozen pineapple in my freezer for smoothies (which is my current food addiction). I've never heard about the breaking down fat thing, but it's totally a bonus if it's true0

SCORE!I'm glad someone else as said that they don't shy away from healthy sugars I wasn't sure if it was ok or not.
Definitely! The sugars you want to avoid are unnatural or artificial sweetners: high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, etc. etc. There's a whole list of all the bad sugars here:
