Eating 3 meals a day but not having breakfast?

I not eaten breakfast in a long time, tried a bit last year but don't feel comfortable exercising after I've eaten and struggle to get up earlier.
I go to the gym between 9 and 9:30 and usually do 65 minutes, hoping to increase this but I've been ill.
Today I ate at 1.30, 17.30 and 21.20,
3 x Chicken Breast, Sweet Potato and Broccoli, also had a cup a soup at 17.30 (didn't enjoy it that much and not having again as I'm trying to cut out processed food)
Does anyone else do this? Is it a good idea? Going to vary the food more in the future but wondering about spreading the food out?

Total intake will be the most important factor in weight loss/weight gain.
If you're comfortable with your current eating schedule and it allows you to train effectively, and it's not causing you issues with total nutrient intake for the day, then I wouldn't bother changing it.
EDIT: I do agree that varying your food choices would be a good idea from a nutrient sufficiency standpoint. The above was just to address whether or not you should eat more meals. Whether you consume them in 3 meals or 6 meals doesn't matter provided you can hit your total nutrition for the day.0 -
You ate three chicken breasts and only two types of vegetables? If so it's not breakfast you need to worry about it's your complete lack of variety, calories and nutrients. There are few minerals, limited vitamins and antioxidants, no healthy fats, low on fibre. Most active males will struggle to get the calories and number of servings of each food group in only three meals a day, you don't have to eat breakfast or even name your meals, just eat four to five meals or snacks and from all the food groups.0

I don't eat breakfast either...I tend to only eat one or two meals and graze when I feel peckish.
I found this to be really helpful http://www.leangains.com/search/label/Fat Loss0 -
It doesn't matter when you eat. Everyone is different in their eating habits. Your body doesn't treat food differently based on time of day.0
