30 day shred

i've been looking at posts an keep hearing "30 day shred", what is it?

    It's a workout DVD by Jillian Michaels. She kicks some serious *kitten* but it's worth it if you stick to it. I fell off the wagon so I'm starting all over.

    it's an intense 20 minute circuit training DVD by Jillian Michaels. It works... it kicks your butt, but it works :)

    It's a DVD workout by Jillian Michaels. I did it and loved it. It's a 3 phase program, 10 days each phase. :)

    it's only 10 bucks at walmart! i have done it twice. lost no weight but inches :) i also did ripped in 30, another dvd by JM and it worked as well, again no weight but inches.... you should give it a try, for only 10 bucks, you can't lose. You will have 27 min with warm up and cool down 5 days a week and feel amazing when the 30 days are done... i love her 3,2,1 system!

    Is it just supposed to be done 5 days a week? I can't find an answer about how to do the program. A lot of people say 30 days straight...some say 6 days on one day off....and other variations. I just finished day 10 of level one, 10 days straight and I really feel like there should be rest days.

    it is amazing actually. 20 minutes. i did it for 15 days and lost 2 inches off my stomach and one inch off each leg and arm. you cannot argue with the results.

    ETA: i didn't do it everyday. in the 15 days i did, i took like 3 days off from it to give my muscles a rest.

    I've done 30 DS, Ripped In 30, and currently 6 Week 6 Pack....I've never done them in 30 days. Sometimes more like 45. I think Jillian recommends a day off. I also run so I alternate cardio with Jillian. Works wonders!!!

    I don't know how true this is, but in previous 30DS threads I have seen it mentioned that Jillian wrote in a blog post that she was pressured to say to do it 30 days in a row for marketing, but actually recommends one day off a week. I have done it all a row; I think it just depends on your fitness and comfort level.

    Right now I'm doing 15 days of Level 2 and 15 days of Level 3. Then I'm going to move to a higher weight set and start over! They are kinda fun for a quick 20 minute workout.

    she says 5-6 days a week, you can do something else on the other days or complete rest days. The 1st time i did it, i had no idea and did it 30 days in a row... the next time i did it 5-6 days ad got the same results. they say you should always give you muscles time to repair them selves..... i think ones who don't take rest days experience more water weight gain.. i know the 1st time i gained 3-4 lbs and kept it on till i was done all 30 days, maybe i wouldn't of gained that or less at least if i had rest days? who knows.....
