I'm a busy mom who works two jobs and has four children, including three with special needs...have had a rough three months (Hurricane Sandy, snowstorm, broken leg, etc.). Getting started on the 80 lbs that seems to have piled on overnight - its overwhelming. Just came back from brunch and see I only have 400 calories left for the day. Ugh. Good to have a baseline I guess. I'm in CT and hope to have some online buddies to check in with - I can start working out in a couple of weeks (still in a boot and crutches) so I'm sorta stuck. Anyway, I want an extreme makeover and am ready to get it done.

Watching the calories go down brings a good perspective to how much I eat. I was clueless of what a real portion is much less how many calories are in some foods...0
