Just curious..gym question

I have been wondering...when you see someone at the gym who is covered in sweat, what do you think? I will admit that I sweat quite a bit and am always pretty paranoid about it. I definitely push myself no matter what I am doing and my sweat can prove it! I have just always wondered what people thought when they see that. Silly and stupid, I know! lol

I always think "I had better sweat at least that much before I leave!"0
-

I feel a little better now. lol I'm now thinking that I shouldn't worry so much.... thanks! : )0

I think "man, I wish I could sweat that much from my workout!!"0

i always want to fist bump other heavy sweaters i see in the gym who just killed it in a workout.
so i'm thinking "RIGHT ON!"0 -
I don't think about other people at the gym.
That is why i feel no shame when curling in the squat rack0 -

I sweat heavily at the gym, its a little ridiculous. By the time I'm 30mins into my routine I'm dripping on everything. But most times I bring a towel (and if I don't I grab a bunch of those wipes and keep them handy). I really really do try to clean up after myself, I can only imagine how much others hate it.
I hope people think I killed it! Not "eww lookit that sweaty fat guy try to work out how gross" which is probably what people actually think.0 -
Usually when I see fat sweaty guys at the gym I am thinking, "Good for them, they are trying to change."0

Don't ever care. Except this girl today was wearing light gray pants and she had the worse swass I've seen...right up the crack and that was it. Do yourself a favor - no light colored work out pants!0
-
I'm fine with it if they have a towel and clean up after themselves.. I think to myself....please wipe down your equipment and don't come too close to me. And overall...if it is out of hand sweating..it is gross. that is just how i honestly feel. don't kill me.0

Remember, sweat is fat crying....the more sweat the BETTER!!!0
-
I think that isn't sweat that's the body crying!!0

I sweat heavily at the gym to the point that my hair & clothes are dripping to the floor. I only go there to lift weights coz I do my cardio at home or swimming pool.
One weird thing I notice is that whenever I'm in the locker room and see other women entering and chit chatting with one another, I couldn't see any signs of a partially wet garments or any signs that they sweat despite that they have just finished their body combat or zumba classes.0 -
I also sweat a lot when I get off the elliptical after 60 min run. There is nothing I (or anyone else) can do about it. One thing I always clean up behind myself, including the steps. I absolutely hate when people get off the machines, leaving them wet and nasty.0

^ To be fair though, many people don't sweat a lot. I'm one of those people. My shirt never gets soaked even if I have a great workout.0

sweat is good, I never sweat so I am jealous0
-
I get motivated to pick it up, I don't like being the weak one in the group so I feel the need to at least match up sweating0

I think nothing of a sweaty person, and find it odd when people dont sweat. What is the point of going to work out if you aren't going to work hard enough to sweat? They can't be burning that many calories if they dont break a sweat.
Today I ran the track at the ymca. Lately i've been running outdoors and the weather was in the 20's/30's (F) and I guess I got used to the cold cuz at the y I felt like the heat was blasting. I got so hot and sweaty. I'm Irish/English/Scottish/German, in other words, I'm PALE and pink. And I turn red really easily. By the time I finished I was sweaty, yes, but I was also beet red. A lot of people were looking at me like I would keel over any second.0 -
I'd like to know more about these people that don't sweat. I sweat alot, but I have a good amount of body fat and I think I've always been that way. I drink a lot of water. Hydration in, sweat out.
Are there really people who do a hard workout and don't sweat? I mean really hard... can barely stand up afterwards or you have to take 3+ mins to calm your heart down. And still no sweat, really? If I do that I'm soaked. To me that's like some kind of genetic miracle to not sweat, I'd like to know how that works.0 -

They have done a good workout.
That'll be me in 30mins. Go hard or go home!

I hardly sweat even if I am killing it hard... didnt even sweat much when I was in basic training. Some people just don't sweat. I also grew up in phoenix and because of the dry air you dont sweat as much and I think my body has just adjusted to it.0 -
Yeah I grew up in colder climates so maybe that's it. Not used to the southern heat.0

I dont sweat loads. Im very large as well, but I am a face sweater, lol, so whilst my shirt is damp, I am not dripping..well...except from my face, lol0
